The objective is to locate and sink every enemy ship before your own fleet is destroyed.

Two Distinct Play Modes

Two modes provide variety. Classic mode sticks to the traditional formula of pure guessing and deduction. Advanced mode introduces a point system. Successful attacks earn points that can be spent on power-ups. These power-ups reveal small sections of the enemy grid or highlight potential ship locations. This mode adds a layer of resource management, rewarding players who balance aggression with careful point allocation.

Strategic Ship Placement

How you position your ships directly influences the outcome. Clustering vessels together makes them easier to find, while spreading them out across the board forces the AI to cover more ground. Some players prefer placing ships along the edges, while others hide them in the center. The game does not dictate a single correct approach, encouraging experimentation with different layouts. Over time, you learn which formations tend to confuse the AI the most.

Reading the Opponent

The AI opponent follows logical patterns but can adapt to your play style. Paying close attention to where the AI chooses to attack reveals its strategy. If it consistently targets one area, it may have deduced a pattern in your placement. Adjusting your own search pattern in response keeps the AI guessing. This back-and-forth creates a satisfying mental duel where each move carries weight.

The game presents a clean, intuitive interface. The grid is easy to read, and ship icons are distinct. Animations for hits and misses provide clear feedback without being distracting.
